Jean Molesky-Poz, Ph.D., with Catholic and Franciscan roots, has taught at the University of California, Berkeley and at Santa Clara University (SCU)  for over twenty-five years. At SCU, she was faculty in the Religious Studies Department and in the Graduate Program for Pastoral Ministry. In 2011, she co-founded Women in Conversation at Newman-Holy Spirit Parish (2011) in Berkeley, CA, and continues on the leadership team.  Jean has published articles and a book on contemporary Maya spirituality;  she has written chapters on Catholic issues in collections, and in articles in America, The Way, The National Catholic Reporter, Global Sisters’ Report and is completing a novel. Jean is a writer, spiritual accompanier, and retreat facilitator. She enjoys her family, friends, communities, and, yes, travel.
