Sales, Marketing, Reservations and Development Director
Duties
– Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
– Lead the sales team in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
– Manage key customer relationships and negotiate contracts
– Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
– Oversee marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation
– Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities and pipeline progress
– Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance
Qualifications
– Proven experience in sales, business development, or related field
– Event management marketing and sales experience
– At least 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, hotel or retreat center activities
– Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful sales deals
– Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
– Donor development and fundraising experience a plus
– Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions
– Experience in technical sales is a plus
– Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software
– Demonstrated ability to manage a high-performing sales team with strong leadership skills
Marketing and Reservation function (there would be an FTE staff member helping with this function)
– Understanding of user profiling individuals for web-based applications, mobile apps, and e-commerce systems to capture funds
– Experience in creating and publishing via the following platforms: WordPress and Constant Contact
– Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills
– Experience with online event management promotion and fulfillment systems
– Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness
– Knowledge of social media platforms including, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook,
– Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO. Know how to run and manage an online ad campaign
– Experience doing buyer personal and audience research
– Familiarity with publishing and web design
– Good project and budget management skills
– Ability to work with a team in a spiritually rich environment
