Cancellation policy
Overnight or Multi-day/weekend retreats: $50 fee. Day Retreat: $20. Fees may be applied to future retreats. The fees may be waived in event of extenuating circumstances. Contact Kateri at 925-837-9141 x315.
About the Event
Are you good at giving but find it difficult to receive? Do you find yourself meeting others’ needs and neglecting your own?
Are you learning more about self-compassion and wondering how in the world to practice it? “Do Unto Others as you would have them do unto you” Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31. When we love ourselves fully, we are more equipped to love others more fully.
Let’s learn to love ourselves as a way of honoring the Golden Rule. Join us as we discover the beauty of giving and receiving.
Come to fill up so that you can give more.
Registration begins at 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
7:00 pm – Dinner.
8:00 pm – First Session. And concludes with lunch on Sunday.

Karla Obernesser is a counselor specializing in individual, couples and family counseling, and maintains a private practice in Bellevue, WA. She has Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, University of North Texas and Master’s Degree in Counseling, University of Phoenix.

Fr. Rusty Shaughnessy, OFM earned his MA in Theology at St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, MD. He was retreat master here at San Damiano for 7 years. Fr. Rusty is well known for his humor, energy and honesty when sharing personal stories.
