About the Event
The Stations of the Cross are Jesus’ physical declaration of Love to each of us. Christ is present to us in the people and circumstances of our lives, but do we recognize him? Using art and writing prompts, we will enter the scene of the Passover Festival and the week of his Passion. Where are you in each scene? Do you speak, act or remain silent? Reflecting on your own life events as they unfold during this Lenten season, you will examine how you feel and respond and consider what Jesus might be asking of you. How is he walking with you? How is he asking you to come closer to him?
This retreat will follow chapters 1- 4 of “Surrender All: An Illuminated Journal Retreat through the Stations of the Cross” by the retreat’s presenter, Jen Norton.
