Pope Francis wrote in Laudato Si: ‘Saint Francis shows us just how inseparable the bond is between concern for nature, justice for the poor, commitment to society, and interior peace.’
One Saturday per month, from 10am until 2pm, for you to get to know St. Francis in new ways. We will bring the holy man of 800 years ago as our guest as we look at “the signs of the times.” The format will combine communal prayer, dialogue, and moments for silence. Lunch is provided.

Come join with us on Saturday February 21—from 10am until 2pm—as we explore the meanings found in the story of St. Francis of Assisi and the wolf of Gubbio.
This story found in our Franciscan tradition will help you realize why St. Francis is the patron saint of Peacekeepers and of Animals, and why he is often pictured in art surrounded by animals.
As the headlines in the news challenge us to be peacekeepers, we can find solace in this story. And as we experience the effects of climate change, we can take hope in the value of deepening our relationship with all of Creation.
We meet for dialogue, group prayer, times of silence, and noontime lunch.
Please mark your calendars for the following dates for Saturdays with St. Francis for 2026: January 10, February 21, March 14, April 11, May 9, and June 13. Cost is $40 per month including lunch.
