About the Event
Christmastide Wishes
On behalf of our staff and the Friars in residence at San Damiano retreat, we humbly pray that your Christmas may be a time of celebration, reconciliation, adoration, gratitude and above all else, filled with the love which is God’s presence in our lives. The birth of Christ reminds us of the divinity within us all, and that Christ came to show us how we can live to love, and love to live each other.
We offer this Advent Prayer for you to pray with us at these challenging times for those much less fortunate than ourselves.
As you can see there is much being done, and much, much more to be done. We can only do this with your support. Many of you are already helping us considerably with individual donations, bequests and monthly giving. These all help us keep San Damiano living up to its mission. This Oasis of Peace is one way that we try to meet the original call of St. Francis. “Rebuild My Church”, was the message he heard and we continue to respond to this call.
