About the Event
“Be present in all things and thankful for all things.” Maya Angelou
We will be using stories from the lives of St. Francis of Assis and St. Clare of Assisi — so this retreat day will have a Franciscan theme. We will share in group reflection sessions, a bit of quiet time, and prayer experiences, including Scripture and art as meditation.
Autumn is in the air. Thanksgiving Day is just around the corner. The elections are decided. Am I doing the best I can to live an attitude of thanksgiving in my daily life? Am I feeling hopeful, discouraged, or apathetic? With time for group reflection and personal quiet, we can assess “where I am at” and we can listen for the invitations of our God.
The day will be gentle. You can adjust the rhythm of the day to what you need.
