About the Event
Advent is a time of waiting; of hope, uncertainty, and change; of preparation and miracles. During this weekend retreat, we’ll deepen our Advent experience by opening our hearts to the path of surrender—living in acceptance and trust—and responding to the call of God in our lives, as Mary did.
Through scripture, guided prayer practices, and quiet reflective time, as well as through art, music, journaling, and the beauty of nature, we’ll enter into the heart of Advent together, opening ourselves to the gift of grace and the spiritual depth, meaning, and peace it brings to our lives.
Participants will receive a copy of Colette’s Book, Seeking Surrender: How a Trappist Monk Taught me to Trust and Embrace Life.

She is the author of “The Divine Heart” (May 2021), “Seeking Surrender” and “Comfort and Joy.” She has a passion for helping people connect more deeply with the presence of the sacred in daily life.
