Overnight or Multi-day/weekend retreats: $50 fee. Day Retreat: $20. Fees may be applied to future retreats. The fees may be waived in event of extenuating circumstances. Contact Kateri at 925-837-9141 x315.
About the Event
Know yourself, know God. The program for this day includes short talks and discussions on the traditions and practices of Christianity, times of group meditation and personal time to do your own silent or walking reflections and meditations on the beautiful grounds of San Damiano. No meditation experience required. Facility grounds accessibility from ADA to moderate hike around tree and pigeon area. Lunch included. COVID safe and social distancing protocols as required.
Registration begins at 9:30 AM. Lunch is included. This retreat will begin the program at 10:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.
About the Presenter(s)
Donna Lack
Donna is a Benedictine Oblate of Hesed Community. She leads daily and weekly meditation groups for Hesed Community and is the current Director. She has a B.A. in Human Services from Holy Names University and is a graduate and trained mentor of Education for Ministry (EfM) from The Beecken Center of The School of Theology, The University of the South.
Teresa Cheung is a Benedictine Oblate Novice of Hesed Community. She has practiced Christian Meditation since first learned from Fr Laurence Freeman of WCCM in 2005 in Hong Kong. Teresa is a spiritual director trained at Mercy Center in Burlingame and Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos. She is also a licensed clinical social worker.
