St. Francis said to the birds: “My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
Bring your pets to join the Franciscans and community of San Damiano for this annual blessing of the animals. So we will be blessing all manner of families and pets from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM at the entry near the St. Francis statue. The event is free. Donations are gladly accepted HERE.
All are Welcome! Saturday, October 4, 2025 by the statue of St. Francis outside the main building from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
