Personal retreat with moderated art and prayer sessions

 

Cancellation policy
Overnight or Multi-day/weekend retreats: $50 fee. Day Retreat: $20. Fees may be applied to future retreats. The fees may be waived in event of extenuating circumstances. Contact Kateri at 925-837-9141 x315.

About the Event

Are you trying to reframe emotions of fear and/or anger this Lent?  During this private retreat, we will offer opportunities to employ the media of writing, painting, clay, and discussion to facilitate awareness and release of these struggles within.

Choose the cost that best suits your needs. Costs for the weekend:

$250 per person
$215 per person
$180 per person
Meals are included
Check in starts Friday between 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and retreat concludes on Sunday at 1:00 pm.

Joan Clair

Joan has been a professed Secular Franciscan for many years.  She is creative in many art media. She has taught at the Graduate Theological Union as well as Joseph of Arimathea Anglican Seminary (both in Berkeley, CA) and at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles. Since 1978, Joan has owned Di Stefano Studio, an award-winning, full-service stained glass and mosaic studio. One of her many projects was to restore the historic stained glass windows at the Abbey of Gethsemani.
