About the Event

A retreat for caregivers (and all of us are caregivers). Jesus is still in Mary’s womb during Advent and then he gets born into the womb of nature, where all of the natural world welcomes God and praises God. This culture of care is born in a time of great uncertainty. This is the model our faith gives us to be present with one another and with all of the natural world to welcome God among us.

How do we respond to uncertainty? Can we find the capacity to care even when there is uncertainty. This retreat offers space and time to cultivate a sense of care for yourself, for those close to you, and for our world. Through experiential meditations, collaborative talks, and liturgical prayer we will engage in caring for one another as we wait in anticipation of the incarnation and our encounter with Jesus in our midst.
