Triduum Retreat – The Paschal Mystery: A Love Story – A Journey Of Passion, Love And Redemption
Triduum Retreat (4 days and 3 nights – Thursday evening to Sunday Brunch) including:
-Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper
-Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion
-Saturday Easter Vigil
-Concludes with Easter Sunday brunch
Check-in on Thursday begins at 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Dinner is served at 7:00 PM.
Reconciliation Service at 7:15 pm – 8:30 pm.
Holy Thursday Liturgy in the Chapel at 8:30 PM.
The Triduum Retreat will concludes with Easter Sunday brunch at 10:00 AM and departure after brunch.
Cancellation policy
Overnight or Multi-day/weekend retreats: $50 fee. Day Retreat: $20. Fees may be applied to future retreats. The fees may be waived in event of extenuating circumstances. Contact Kateri at 925-837-9141 x315.
About the Event
Please join us this Lent for our a spiritual experience to be remembered at San Damiano Retreat in Danville, CA. This retreat will combine the liturgical with the contemplative, all focused on remembering and rejoicing in the love which God displayed to us at the pinacle of His ministry. The sacrifice of His beloved Son Jesus Christ and the donation of His love to all mankind.
The retreat will be led by: Fr. Philip Garcia OFM, Dr. Carrie Rehak, vocalist Laura Woodworth-Gibson, Dr. Michael Cunningham OFS, and Margaret Riley, plus our Spiritual Direction team.
The Paschal Mystery is essentially a love story. One where God showed us how to love in the most experiential way. By living a life with us, and then laying it down for us; even for those who despited and misunderstood him. The retreat calls us to remember and re-engage with our relationship based on all that is in the world because of God is because of Love, which like a river, flows through us
