Join Jan Stegner on Tuesdays this Advent.
November 29-Hope: we will talk about hope, read a scripture passage from one of the gospels that has to do with hope, open it up, meditate/reflect on it, have a group discussion, and end with a closing prayer on hope.
December 6-Love: we will talk about love, read a scripture passage from one of the gospels that has to do with love, open it up, meditate/reflect on it, individual thoughts, and end with a closing prayer on love.
December 13-Joy: we will talk about joy, read a scripture passage from one of the gospels that has to do with joy, open it up, meditate/reflect on it, get in groups of twos and have discussion, and end with a closing prayer on joy.
December 20-Peace: we will talk about peace, read a scripture passage from one of the gospels that has to do with peace, open it up, meditate/reflect on it, have a group discussion, and end with a closing prayer on peace. LUNCH NOT AVAILABLE.

Jan Stegner, MTS, MMC
Jan is a graduate from the Franciscan School of Theology at the Graduate School of Theology in Berkeley, California. She holds two master degrees: Theological Studies, and Multi-Cultural Church. Jan taught Religious Studies to children, teenagers, and adults for over nineteen years, most recently at Saint Perpetua Parish in Lafayette. Jan has a devotion to San Damiano Retreat. She is married with two adult children and lives in Walnut Creek with her husband and their cat and three dogs.
