About the Event
What is our vision collectively and individually as we proceed through the crisis of a global pandemic? How has our vision of our world and of humankind changed as a result of the many months of isolation, loss, and suffering brought about by Covid-19? Perhaps the 8th century Irish poem, Be Thou My Vision, holds a wisdom for our time. In the Celtic vision, the Divine breaks through the ordinary, mundane, tedious, messiness of day-to-day living to reveal a God who permeates every fiber of our souls. The ancient wisdom, visual images, poetry and blessings of Celtic Christian Spirituality take us beyond mere words to nourish our imagination and restore what we have neglected or forgotten. These days of Retreat provide opportunities to be renewed by the dynamic energy of our encircling God.
