The Franciscans are mendicants. In other words, we beg. Francis of Assisi saw begging as a way to emulate the poor and humble example of Jesus Christ. And so we humbly beg for your support. Your donations enable us to care for and staff our 60 year old facility and to make it accessible to all people regardless of financial means.
Volunteering at San Damiano
Volunteers are sought for regular weekly shifts in the garden and grounds. We also seek volunteers to assist with special projects and fundraising events. Volunteers with skills such as in the trades, graphic design, data entry, and sales are welcome.
