Coming Out of Exile: Welcoming Home What Our Spirit Is Missing
As we grow into wholeness we discover within ourselves aspects that need to be recognized, accepted, and integrated into our life. How do we call home these parts of ourselves that have been lost, ignored, forgotten, forced away or rejected? As we discover these banished aspects of ourselves and welcome them as catalysts for our spiritual transformation, we grow in being a source for social transformation and contribute to greater peace for others in exile. This retreat day invites participants to ponder and integrate what longs to return home in themselves. Joyce will encourage a compassionate calling forth of what has been displaced by the use of song, prayer, presentations, quiet reflection, journaling, and dialogue.
