Fratelli Tutti

Fratelli Tutti: An Aspirational Call to Fraternal Love and Universal Friendship

Fratelli Tutti, Pope Francis’ latest encyclical, is timely, controversial, and inspirational all at once.  His message is universal, intended for all people because it will take all people to realize his vision, his “universal aspiration” of being one big human, global family – brothers and sisters all!

Join us for three one-hour sessions on the encyclical where we will discuss the Pope’s reflections on the negative trends in our world and his vision for how we can reverse these negative trends and restore hope in our future.  In short, his message is that, as one big human family sharing the same planet together, it is time to start viewing our relationship with one another- individually and globally – in a new way.

There is an urgency to his message that seems appropriate for the times through which we are living and the challenges we face as a nation and globally.  So, plan to join us on Zoom from 7-8 pm on the Thursday evenings of April 22, 29 and May 6.

Jim Briggs is retired Executive Director of the School of Applied Theology and former Executive Assistant to the
